Cleaning glass canopies

Wondering if anyone has any tips for getting the crud off of the glass canopies? The bulk of it comes off...but even after cleaning there is a moderate haze of buildup still there, almost as if its etched into the glass.

I tried vinegar with a scrubbie sponge but didnt really make that much of a difference.

I have let it soak for a few min. Maybe 5min. Then i grab a razor and go HAM
