Question Need help on this one

i have this on my rock and it was irritating some corals. ( it look like a brown slime like spider web) Can you help how to get rid of this on the tank without throwing to rock. Thank you in advamce

You can siphon it out or use a power head to blow it off rock. Then use a net or siphon it out of tank. Red slime or cyano. How long the tank be running? Young mature tank or nutrient are high.

increase flow /lower bioload

Maintenance:

1: Water changes
2: Don’t over stock your tank
3: Good Water flow

I’ve had to use slime remover.. at one point.

Also make sure when you over come the out break.
Fresh charcoal change monthly.

This are steps I took on my past outbreak.

if not algae, this could also be vermetid snail mucus...picture is blurry can't tell if there is any exoskeleton present

you're initial description sounded like dinophagellates, but there are no oxygen bubbles present.

Based on description of irritating corals and what I can see from the picture I would guess Dino’s. Lower your nutrients and increase your flow. Check online for other ways to get rid of it. Not easy.
