Hi everyone, here are some updated pics of my 25g. I also showed some pics of my seriously annoying diatom problem, witch in turn become a hair algae problem. My phos & silicates are both 0, I have a fuge full of chateo and i use a phosban reactor with phosguard and ROWAcarbon. I just recently changed my feedings from everyday to every other day. here is a list of my stock:

1 Firefish
1 Six line Wrasse
1 Damsel
1 Clown
1 Scooter Blenny
5 assorted crabs
7 assorted snails
1 cleaner shrimp

I also have a bunch of diffrent coral too lazy to name.
Im also having a small problem keeping my PH level it drops to 8.1-8.2 a few days after i raise it. I use a 150 halid (7 hours) with 2-35 blue antics (9 hours) I dose nano reef part A,B but dont like it too much.
If anyone can give a helping hand id sure apreciate it.

how long has the tank been up?

Typically newer tanks will continue o have some blooms for severel months.
You have a good amount of fish in there you nitrates may be a little high, give some more info on water params and water change. Are you using RODI????????

any Skimmer??

Diatoms are usually harmless but ugly.

Thanks for the reply, I just tested my nitrates,(somthing i rarly do) the readings show 10mg/L so they are low. I do have an RODI unit and Im using a tunze 9002 skimmer and it is pulling out some good brown skimmate. I also do weekly 2 gallon changes. You are probably right about the timing this tank has only been up since Jan 5th. :banghead: :lol2:

I test my nitrates and phos alot and the nitrates came up 2.5 ppm the other day, up from .5. As a result I made water and will change 20% today. For me, 2.5 is too high.
