I have a JBJ nanocube and am very pleased with it to date (2 months). If you do a search on nanos you'll see some threads in the last 2-3 weeks.

I have the 24g and have made the following mods to it

- Sapphire Protein Skimmer from www.nanotuners.com in chamber 1
- Maxijet 1200 in Stage 3 and but a Y adaptor on the outlet to get more varried flow in the tank. Overll from everything i read the 1200 is a step up from the stock pump
- Re-wired the moonlights to be on a seperate plug and therefore timer, was annoying previously

I've yet to upgrade the lighting but that will probably be next. It came stock with 2x36w PCs which i have 50/50s in

Nanotuners sells a kit that can DIY an extra 36w into the hood for $109

Good luck and let me know how you make out.

I didn't mod at all.

Straight 12 g cube I put carbon in chamber 2 and a bunch of chaeto in chamber 3

Other than that run as is with 1 gallon water change a week.
