I just purchased a flat brain coral(florescent green), I don't know the species of which. However, should they be placed up high for lighting purposes or low light on sand. I have compacts on my tank. The pet store didn't have a definate answer. Thanks!

It's a Trachyphyllia geofyrii. They usually do not require much light and will likely be better on the substrate on your tank. Most open brain specimens are collected from the substrate in turbid, deeper waters.
