Hey guys, I am probably going to pick up a fish this weekend for my tank and I was wondering what the best way to feed it would be?? my tank is 60" long and I just finished the diatom / hair algae blooms so I dont want to over feed and let the algae come back with avengance... any tips for feeding 1 fish in a long tank?? Thanks guys!

They thanks!! This site is awesome... I posted on a few others but one of them has so many threads / posts, that your post gets lost within 5 minutes of posting it, very annoying!! HUGE isnt always a good thing!! LOL This site is perfect!!! I think I am going to go with a false percula or a oceleris clown??? Im mostly concerned with when i drop the food in, that the fish wont even notice it and I will end up overfeeding the tank just so that he will get fed... I was also looking at a dwarf angel is i was only going to go with 1 or 2 fish 
I wouldn't worry too much - clowns are generally very aggressive feeders and IME are not very picky. Many of the dwarf angels are good eaters too, but their personalities seem to vary more - some can be shy (especially at first).
The first few days in the tank, the fish may not eat much while they get comfortable in their new surroundings. Starting them out with the same food they've been eating at the LFS can speed the process as they may not recognize or accept what you offer them at first if it's different.
Once settled in, they'll start getting accustomed to the feeding routine in their new home and they'll be "ready" before the food even hits the water.

Trust me, they will be like little pups begging for food. When I start to walk from the kitchen with the food to the living room where the tank is they know what time it is. They spring to life and stare at me waiting for the food to hit the water. =)
