Mag-float users: How do you use your mag-float?

I'm very embarrassed to ask. I just bought a mag-float algae cleaning magnet (hitherto, I've been reaching in the tank with a pad).

The mag-float has a "velvety" part and a "velcro-rough" part. Which one goes in the tank, and which one goes on the outside? I can't find the instructions!

Just figured it out myself... The magnet with the label is on the outside of the tank, the magnet without the label is on the inside
