oohh my head hurts

For the last three months I have been reading posts & articles @ this site, and my head hurts. I'm trying to set up a 150 gal reef and ya'll are killing me!!! TOO much info. Sump..no sump..dead sand..live sand..amonnia goesinta nitrite goesinta nitirate goesinta nitrogen goesinta big steel cylinders and sold by gas co..MY EARS ARE BLEEDING. I think my anurism has exploded!!!!! I do thank you all for you wisdom and the endless supply of knowledge I have recieved here, but will my head explode before I even put water in the tank????? 8O

You forgot to mention heaters, skimmers, pumps, food, livestock choices, lighting, acrylic vs glass, etc. etc. etc.; and so on, and so forth, for now and forever, till the end of time, the last days, the meaning of life, the madness of humanity.

Just think, you'll also receive a chemistry degree. Phosphate, Iodide, Silica, Calcium, Strontium, Magnesium, Alklinity, specific gravity etc.. etc... etc... Oh, with a 150, you'll probably get your plumbers and electrical certificates as well.

Yeah, my wife gets all mad when she's gotta help scrape the pieces together, grab the super glue, and put my humpty back together again. Good thing she's a nurse.
In all seriousness, you are doing the right thing. This isn't exactly stamp collecting, it can be very costly and new info. is always coming out. It pays to get a headache now and then rather than one in the wallet if you make a bad decision.

I know how you feel jj jeter, i used to feel the way you do, my opinion is to just read on here for second opinions and for entertainment,I just got some good books and go by what they instruct!
