Need advice on MH Lighting for a Reef Tank Set up

I am converting a fresh water glass 55 gal tank to a reef tank and I need some advice on what type of lighting would be best for this set up. I have not decided on whether to use VHO or MH lights. What do you recomend and what dimensions?

Well, what are you planing to keep in the reef tank? I can be anywhere from a few 40W florescent bulbs to a couple 400W MHs if you want to keep just mushrooms or shallow water Acropora...

What do you have in mind?

For now some live rock and some anemone later on. Just trying to do it slowly so it will cycle properly and not put the system through too much stress.
