raising magnesium w/ESV additive

In the process of leveling my calcium and alkalinity I find my magnesium levels to be around 1000ppm. I want about 1250 ppm. I bought ESV magnesium to supplement. The directions say to add 1-1.5 ml per gallon. That would be about 75-112 ml for a 75 gallon. Since there is also a warning about it causing a salinity level raise, I am hesitant to add that much all at once. Can I add smaller amounts daily to reach my goal?

Sure.. depending on how long you want to dose it.. I'd try 10% a day and watch the levels each day.

I like adding supplements in my make up water (mine is automated). That way the changes in water parameters are done slowly and consitently over whatever period of time you like.

I like Doug suggestion too!
