Can Snails become a problem in a Salt Water Aquarium? I know that they were a headache in my Fresh Water aquirium and before I decide to purchase a few, I want to know how out of control in terms of reproduction they can be?

Most snails are not problematic since they don't readily reproduce like their freshwater counterpart. Examples are Astrea, turbosnail, etc. There are other exceptions, (can't remember the genus name...) but they are easily controlled if problem do (rarely) arise.

However, there are a few parasitic snail in this hobby (and they reproduce within the tank), but I doubt that you can buy them in particular.
