I'm wanting to get into reef keeping and am looking for some books that will teach me how to do it. I hear that "Natural Reef Aquariums" is a good book, any other suggestions?

thanks

Hey Soulfighter

Sorry if this is a bit impersonal, but here's a great link for recommended readings: http://www.reefs.org/library/reading/
It's something us admins came up with so it reflects my reading recommendations as well. Hope that helps!

BTW, at the top of this forum there's also a guide to information in Reefs.org. It's a great place to start :)

Hmm.... it seems like ChrisRD gave you the link in an earlier post, so sorry to be redundant :P

Personally, I started out reading magazines and The Reef Aquarium Vol 1 by Delbeek and Sprung. I'm sure some of the info is a little outdated now, but it definitely got me started in the right direction. The time I really got going with my reefkeeping knowledge was when I found this community.

I find not only reading books but joining a group of local reefers or participating in our chat room is a great help to ask questions and get immediate feed back.
