DLART...they will custom build me a fixture for 300 that will sit 6" off my aquarium so i dont have to suspend the fixture..youre not prolly gonna find "cheaper" lighting...check e-bay then....i too have been pricing out MH's...I also am on a fixed budget....

HQI 150W 10kk..I have a 20gal, nothing fancy but MH's arent cheap..ive checked...another thing you can do is check the for sale forum on RDO....you might get lucky..

Ive been checking that now and then but I havent found anything yet. Im not sure, but I will probably need a couple hundred watts of MH for a 46 gallon.
