Hey everyone.. thanks for all your support during this project.. I am going to be creating a website with pictures so I can show everyone the fruits of my (and your) labor...
I just got in my Kent Marine Hi-S Maxxima 60 GPD RO/DI and I dont know much about it.. I was planning on doing the following, please let me know if this is the correct method to setting one of these up for a reef tank:

I am going to put the unit in my basement near a water hook-up, run the return line through the floor behind my tank where I am going to have a 30 gallon rubbermaid storage bin.
The storage bin with have the Kent Marine float valve installed so when I need water for my reef, the bin will always be ready to provide!
I will then put a small Mag3 into the bin to pump water from the bin to my reef when I need it.

When do I add salt?
Does this setup sound right, or do I have it backwards?

It is usually better to let the output of a RO/DI to flow out without backpressure, but going up a floor (a few psi) should not be too bad.

Anyway, it sound fine to me, except that for top off, you don't usually add salt to the water... or I misunderstood you?
