green star question

I bought a beautiful green star coral Monday night. It has not opened up yet. How long should I expect to wait before it opens up? All my parameters are good. I have no other corals in my tank, but I do have an annemone that is thriving.

Green star polyp can be closed for weeks. There is not much you can do except wait. So as long as the mat is purple, and there is no sign of infecton, just leave it alone.

Slime and discoloration from the normally purple mat.

Update to Original Post:

My greenstar began to have a few polyps open on the evening of original post & more polyps have opened each day. Today makes a week since I bought it & I would estimate around 70% to be open. Thanks again for all replies & advice.
