powerhead QUESTION

should i leave the air valve open on my powerhead so i get all those air bubbles flowing out of it, or should i keep the cap in so just water is flowing? 38gallon FOWLR

I think it depends on asthetics. Do you like to see the tiny bubles floating all over your tank, AND sticking to the front of the tank (thus inhibiting your viewing pleasure), or not?

I tried putting bubbles in my tank, but didnt like the outcome, I think it was too much and inhibited my viewing pleasure of the tank.

But thats just MHO.

I never use the venturi and I dont think you will find anyone with reeftanks that does except for on their skimmer.
