AQUA C EV-180 VS. Euroreef CS6-2 Protein Skimmer

Wanted an opinion on which skimmer would be better for a 90 Gallon setup. I am leaning more towards the Aqua C as I can keep it out of the sump but wanted feedback in terms of which is a better performing skimmer overall.

Any feedback would be appreciated as I would be purchasing one in a couple of days.

I've used both and think both are on par with one another. I currently am using the Euroreef because it is a little less finicky and because it uses less power and space (counting the pump). If you have space and don't mind the extra power usage, the EV180 is a good buy. Bottom line is both are great and you won't go wrong with either.

I use the EV180, and I guess my only complaint is that it goes flat if I feed oily food. It gets going again fairly fast, so I'm not sure thats a big deal. I chose it over the Euroreef as I didn't want the skimmer in my deep sump.

I wasn't aware that a Euro could run comparably on a smaller pump...
