Howdy

My PH is a little high 8.7, how do I bring it down? Should I be worried?

The humble reef is doing well, algea is growing on the sides of the tank. I will now incorperate algea eaters, How many of what would you suggest? the tank is seventy five gallons.

Thanks for the input.

Have you tested you alkalinity? You can add small doses of vinager to bring it down but this is only temporary, especially if you have a imbalance of ph and alkalinity

So you have live rock in there right? Whats your ammonia and nitrite and, and possibly nitrate levels? I know that pH will drop when theres alot of decay and ammonia in the water and such. Try doing a water change. What do you have in the tank, being a "humble reef"? I had the same problem, and I actually think my tests were a bit screwy.
