Howdy

Live rock is growing these little sprigs looks like rye grass, is that OK?
Brown dirty dark sandy looking stuff depositing around the tank. Looks like the bottom of the ocean. Is this a detritus bloom? should I clean it up? Does it have any value? Did I cause this thing?

Thanks Ya'll are great help

The algae sprouting from the rock is probably some type of macro. You'll see several types of algaes come and go while your system matures so I wouldn't worry about it just yet.

The dirty sandy looking stuff you're seeing is detritus that was shed from the live rock - again to be expected. I like to syphon this stuff out of the tank periodically when I do a water change.

Yep, its our old freind detritus. I like to blow it off the rocks with a turkey baster when I do water changes. If you have filter feeders, there is often good stuff that gets stirred into the water too. A good portion leaves during siphoning out old water/vacuuming. Aiptasia loves a nice detritus covered rock to stake a claim on so don't let it accumulate.
