I have some lace rock left from my cichlid tank which I had once treated with Clout. It has been out of the tank for a few months but I noticed that parts of it is blue due to the meds. Is this rock safe to put in my reef tank?
Thanks

In your case, it depends on how much rock you have. Unless you have tons of it, it is not worth the risk to use it on reef tank. You can get base rock that is safe for reef for less than a dollar per pound.

I believe Clout is quite toxic to invertebrates. I have no idea how long it would remain potent on the rock, but I definitely would pass on using it in a reef.

I would definately NOT use that rock. Could leech back into your system killing some of your little buddies.....
