Do pepermint shrimp eat pods???

I noticed some aptasia in my fuge so I dropped a couple of peps in it to take care of them and then I saw on another board someone was getting rid of them because their pod population was depleting.

Seriously, I am sure the ppmts shrimp do eat pods, but AFAIK, they usually touch things that don't move at all.

Maybe it's from running around dressed as a gir1.

I doubt the peps would have any impact on pods populations.

Anyway, I have used ppmt shrimp to take care of my Aptasia problem. One thing you need to watch out is fake ppmt shrimp (aka camel shrimp). I *heard* they are not reef safe.
