My bigger clown of the pair got some red vine that was growing on the rocks stuck in his throat. I can see him either try to swallow it or cough it back up. Because of the color I originally thought he got cut up. Should I try to net him out and remove it from his throat or should I leave him be? He was still eating aggressively today.

I'd leave it if it's still eating. There will be no easy way to extract it without terribly stressing it, and possible damage if you force it out could occur. Hopefully it'll clear on its own.

If you do need to remove him, be sure to use a towel to hold him (wet, with some Stresscoat or similar on it), and use the smallest pair of hemostats you can find. Two people may be better than one.

Hey, you're not the only one. My first thought was, "What the F*** is this guy feeding his fish? And where's Rover??!"
