Hi again,
I was just going to order a replacement bulb (36" 96 watt) for my CustomSealife Smartlite powercompact and have found that the company went under. I was trying to find a different powercampact bulb to fit the hood, but all I find is "Square pin" or "Straight pin" and I don't know what mine takes or what that means. Anyone know??? THANKS

Try as I may, I can't seem to remember what pin arrangement CSL uses. Good news is it's really really easy to check. Disconnect the power to the ballast and remove a tube from its socket. You'll see four pins. If they are aligned in a square formation, you need a square pinned bulb. If it's aligned in a straight line, then you need straight pins Both types of PC bulbs are readily available from any Reefs.org sponsor that sells PC lighting.
