I have my system in my living room for one month now. Yesterday I noticed that the walls near the tank are starting to show signs of water dripping... Is the tank going to ruin my living room walls and furniture? Does the level of humidity rise so much? Can I control it with one of those devices (I don't know how to say it in english) that people use to lower humidity in their homes or is this just going to increase evaporation levels in my tank?

A room dehumidifier, better ventilation or just better air circulation in that part of the room (a fan) could all help alleviate the problem.

Ambient humidity (natural humidity from the environment) in the room is also a factor. I second the need for a dehumidifier, especially since elevated humidity levels in a room with drywall or stucco will cause undesired mildew and mold blooms that will adversely effect the air quality in your home. Just my 2 cents worth.

The humidity where the tank is will be higher. I also recommend better ventilation in the room.

However, I haven't heard of rooms get ruined due to higher humidity level.

Is your living room pretty cold? A warm tank in a cold room will also cause nearby walls to sweat.
