Just added a 1/2 black dwarf angel to my 25 to keep my Cinnamon clown company...they're getting along great and no fighting (Yay!)
Did a water change today and decided to clean my intake on my PF...got some algae off and lo and behold, stuck in the slots are 2 baby clams!
I've got about 1/2 dozen bivalves that hitchhiked in on some LR but never noticed any little guys.
How the heck could they have gotten up to the filter intake?

Anyway...just thought I'd post my new arrivals :D

Oh yeah, also just found 2 bristleworms this week. Happy day..lol

The thing that never ceases to amaze me is the preponderance of life in what originally was a seemingly barren tankscape. Now if only I can find a way to get a small sump/fuge going to start some macros, I'll be a happy camper.

Nice! Let us know how the fish get along.

Bivalves can move around with their foot, and can even climb up the tank walls. Weird eh?

Here is an idea for a Fuge...Use a PF..Buy a little Art Deco light from your LFS or Petco or something like that..Online has them too..check out marine depot..anyways you fill the PF up with Macros and LR rubble and viola..a HOB fuge..i currently have one on the back of my 5.5 gal Mantis tank..thats the only filtration i have on that tank and it works great..my macros are nice and green and i have pristine water doing it this way....HTH

I was thinking about doin that, but I don't have a lot of room on the back of the tank. Got a Tetra 150 and my Prizm, so there's not too much room left between them.
I've got a 10gal sitting in the garage that I'm thinking about....the other option I'm considering is a canister filter...just take out the innards and fill it w/LR...maybe a few small sponges.
Soon as I get a proper stand, I'll see what I can put under it. Just gotta save up the $$.

Then you have to deal with plumbing..you have a Tetra Tec 150, i too have one and thats what i use as a fuge...I take it you are running carbon out of it? Save yourself a few bucks and turn that into a fuge, it wont damage the TetraTec.

That's what I'm thinking of doing....taking out one of the filters and just dumping a bit of LR rubble in the back...

I've got a stand design I'm working on that'll incorporate a sump w/fuge underneath. The door will have a cutout so I can enjoy the critters in the fuge as well.
