Lighting Question: NO T-8(I think) Tubes

Hi,

I have an Eclipse 3 hood with twin 24" tubes. How can you tell if the tube is wearing out or not?

IMO, other than taking periodic measurements with a light meter, there's really no sure-fire way to tell exactly what condition your lamps are in. Most generally change out their lamps sorta conservatively to be on the safe side so they don't shock their corals with a dramatically brighter light. For NO fluorescents changing out the lamps yearly should be fine IME.
