Hey Tackett,
I just realized where your at. You have the same water problems as we do here. Everything that is dumped up river from you is easily found in your municipality's water. I just love how our "city" water is safe  not. I'm so glad that I have well water. I do however like your general area as far as the scenery goes.

Sleepy Bear. I read your other thread and am glad that your starting over. One of the best things you'll ever do for you tank is to get an ro/di unit as one of your first purchases. You should be able to get a reasonably priced one at a home improvement center. Then get your skimmer. Make sure to use live rock. And take your time.

Oh and on the anemone, they need really good light and great water quality. I don't know about how well they do with vho, but the one's I had under pc light, bleached out. I now have metal halides. Hope they color back up.

I just realized where you are at too. You are like the only person on this board within a few hundred miles of me. I wont feed my birds my city water, I infact, dont do anything with my tap except use it to bath, fill the toilet, and wash clothes in.

LOL in that case...I wonder what pittsburgh's city water is like sitting at the ass end of all three rivers. I lived there for a while but never really cared about what I was drinking.
