hey whats up everyone i need a lot of help, i have a 110 gallon reef with a etss gemini pro protein skimmer, 1 mag 12 1 mag 18 2 3/4 sea swirls 4 maxijet 1200 a wavemaster pro a pinpoint ph controller 1 octupuss controller a knop c calcium reactor 1 my reef creations kalk reactor 1 spectra pure 2000 rodi unit 1 etss 72uhf sump 2 400 xm halides 2 110 vhos and 4 96 pc and 1 deepwater moonlight. most of the stuff is kind of hooked up but i dint no how to hook it up ir use some of the stuff. i had a fish guy taking care of averything and telling me what to buy and now i cant even get in touch with him. there are things beeping fish dying and it starting to look like crap. is their anyone the yonkers new york area that would be interested in helping me or can someone out their walk me through this. i want a beatiful reef just like you guys

I'm not in the area, but I'm with Wade, you should check the board for an LFS nearby that can help you out, and help you out fast.

Beyond that.. sue that jerk that took off on you in mid-setup of the tank.

he didnt take off he told me he was to busy and stuff and he himself wasnt to sure in hooking up the calcium reactor and kalk reactor he just told me to get all this stuff and he got in over his hesd (i think ) and the problem with ny aquaria is my friend and sal use to be partners so it woul be a slap in his face you know what i mean

It sounds like you're going to have a lot of questions. If you ask specific questions we can help, so ask away.

Also, check out the library on this site (check the top of the page). It has a beginner's guide and recommended reading lists. Get a good book or two. I second Wade's recommendations to search around for LFSs and local clubs too.

There's other good places around there if you're willing to drive a bit. A few that come to mind are House of Fins, and Reef & Fin in the Greenwich/Stamford, CT area. Also Absolutely Fish in Clifton, NJ. Places like this usually have aquarium maintenance staff that travel (not sure how far though) and they might be able to help you out initially (for a fee of course) until you're comfortable flying solo.
