Is 260 Watts enough lighting for most anemones?

I've been getting conflicting stories on that. It's a 55 gallon tank. Some say it's fine (It's a 50/50 actinic/10,000k) for everything except clams. Others say that Hailides are the only way to go.

What kind of anemone?

I wouldn't do it without MH. Seen too many anemones last 6-10 months and then die on PC or VHO.
