My hang on fuge started to get a good amount started in there and I put my chocolate chip star fish in there and he eats which ever ones he passes by. I dont think he could eat a tank full but he decemated my fuge of them.

Some peppermint shrimp will eat them. They can be kind of hit or miss.

I agree - I've had good luck with peppermints. IME a combination method is best. I prefer to kalk nuke the big ones and get a few peppermints to take care of the small ones + help prevent reinfestation.

Do a search using keywords "kalk aptasia" and select "Search for all terms" - should be a ton of info...

I use a turkey baster with boiling water for the big ones and peppermint shrimps for the small ones. I even remove the rock if I have to get a good dose of boiling water on the animal.

I think my Foxface Rabbit has developed a taste for aiptasia. I have not had any in my 100 gallon tank for about a year now.
