One of my blue green chromis had some sort of bacterial infection so I turned off my skimmer for a week and medicated the tank with pimafix. I did a 25% water change and tried to turn it on last week and it shot out tons of bubbles...so I waited another week did a 15% water change and it still seems to spit out bubbles ..its a fairly new cprbakpak2r anything I can do to help this???or should I just leave it on and let the surface tension burn off?? Also has anyone use liveaquaria.com to buy fish or coras??? how was the experience???
Thanks in advance..... :?

I'm not familiar with that med, but activated carbon is good at removing many of them. You could try to run a little carbon or just wait it out as it should settle down eventually.

As for liveaquaria.com, I've never ordered anything from them, but I've not noticed any complaints on this board. You might try doing a search or posting the question in the GRD forum (General Reefkeeping Discussion).

That PimaFix and MelaFix seems to stay in the water forever...well, OK several days; even WITH carbon working on it. And yes, it does indeed foam up. But I've found it works very good on freshwater fish. I would assume it's just as good on saltwater fish? It says it's good for both.

Reeks like heck, too.

I am not an expert and I dont like contridicting people who probably(absolutely) know more than me (chrisRD), but I got all of my livestock and a few plants off liveaquaria.com and I have had nothing but good luck.
In fact they sent me a small grape kelp when I ordered a large and after I called and told them they sent me a bottle a phytoplankton and a gigantic kelp at no charge. I guess I just talked to the right person on the phone and it probably help that we spent tons of money through their main website for our dogs.

Just my opinion though

Heh, I'm certainly no expert either, and your opinion is just as important as anyone else's here so don't worry about contradicting anyone, but I think we're actually saying the same thing...
