I'm planning on getting two perculas for my tank. Should they be introduced together, or would it be ok to buy one and then the other one sometime later. Or does it matter either way?
I would put them in at the same time. Clownfish can be very territorial and aggressive toward their own kind. The only way you would really keep 2 of the same species like that is a mated pair or a group of juveniles growing up...or if you had a really large tank.
Mated pairs also aren't hard to find, which is nice-you won't have to search every fish store in the US for one.
