is it OK between 6.6-6.8pH. I know the first chamber should read 6.5-6.7pH, but that is what I got from the second chamber. I couldn't adjust to get higher pH, please help.

TIA

You should increase more bubble or CO2, so the PH in your second chamber will be raise up to the point what you want..but you should measrure the effluence in the next couple hours to ensure it's ok to meet your point.

Welcome to RDOF18-hornet! BTW, not everybody on this board is from Orange County...

Actually, you should decrease the bubble rate if you want higher pH in the output. But as long as you put the output somewhere where the CO2 can goes off without dropping your tank's pH too much, it should be alright the way it is.

Thank you very much Mr. MOD. I hope you won't kick my butt soon as other forum J/K.

Yes, I already decreased the bubble rate to 1/3, but it did change much. The pH of the tank is still the same.

Tony, I don't think increase the CO2 is good idea, but thanks anyway.

We are all friendly people here, so don't worry.

A lot of the time a calcium reactor did very little, if any, to the pH of a tank. That's what it suppose to do, that is, to increase the calcium level without turning your tank into a tank of alka seltzer.

Hey Tetra, How is acrylic tank compare to glass? Is acrylic that easily scratch?

Yep, a lot easier, but since I am a pro., my tank is somewhat decent looking after a couple of years j/k...wanna see?

When I switched to the bigger sump and started using the cheato, that is happing to my Cal. Reactor now. Anyway, I will wait a little bit , and see what next I can do. Thanks for your help.

BTW, Tetra, do not show off your tank because it's so crowded, need to upgrade ASAP.
