Heater explosion...??

I was doing a water change with the 5gallon jugs and I had a glass heater in it....pulled it out and it exploded whooops...What heater do you guys use for heating your new water..I have a marineland plastic one that I'm using now and it seams to work ok....any suggestions?

I love the titanium heaters now... no glass. ...just be careful though, they get really really hot out of water.

I second titanium, I have 4 or 5 Won-Pros and I love them.
