gyny, I do not have any personal experience with these sea fans, but, from WWM:http://www.wetwebmedia.com/gorgart2.htm

Various authors have suggested live brine shrimp nauplii, rotifers, prepared mashes (macerated shrimp, clam...) Feed sparingly a few times a week. Make the feeding time and procedure routine. Turn the lights off, subdue particulate and skimmer filtration, introduce some food, wait a determinate time and put in the rest. This will prime the sea fans opening and feeding repertoire. Some writers encourage soaking the foodstuff with vitamin mixtures, Aminoplex solution... to each their own.

It sounds like a meaty food is recommended. I do not know what is in sera coraliquid, but you could try mushing up other fish foods like shrimp into a fine paste and mixing with water, then blowing the solution at the sea fan.

It sounds like they filter feed, I would probably go with marine snow, or DT. I do not know if they would prefer photo or zoo plankton, from the sounds of it, it would be zoo.

Sea Fans tend to do poorly in anyones tanks. You find reports of them seeming to do fine then dying swiftly after 6 months to a year.

I wouldn't suggest anyone get one.
