OK guys, I know what I am looking to get but I need a few suggestions.

I have decided on 37-40 gallon tank with a protein skimmer but no sump, just lots of circulation.

Now I need suggestions on brand names, the only thing that i know i want is the Aqua C Remora with MaxiJet 1200

I would also like some tank dim suggestions for a nice looking reef with sps and eventually a clam hopefully.

so i need live rock, tank, sand bed, powerheads, protein skimmerk, wavemaker. can you guys give me suggestions on exact models and also what i forgot.

thanks for your help guys

a 37 or 40 g cube would be cool :) I have a 37g reef myself. I use Maxijet powerheads, 1x1200 1x900, one of the smaller ones.. along with the 1200 on my AquaC Remora (and yes, it is a VERY good skimmer). I don't run a sump either for lack of room.

I have a mix if fuji, and Marshall Island LR. I use the FLR for the "base" of my structure, since it is generally more dense with fewer branches .. holes. .. etc...

The one thing that I noticed that you forgot was your choice of lighting. My MH fixture is great. I have a 250W AquaMedic Aqualight with a 14K BlueLine Bulb. Great pendant for around $250 if you know where to look.
Your skimmer and your LIGHT SELECTION will arguably be your most important determining factors in what you can keep. Keep in mind you can keep most low light things ok with good lighting.. but you CAN'T keep light hungry organisms like clams, most SPSs, and anemones WITHOUT proper lighting.

You will probably want argonite sand (some say live sand... I PERSONALLY dont thing it makes a ton of differance).

Wish you the best of luck.
Make haste slowly!
