What's the better of the skimmers:

Red Sea Prism Deluxe
Red Sea Berlin Air Lift

Need new skimmer, other one konked out on me.

I'm going to assume that you're just starting out on reefing. IMO you should never skimp on your skimming. You definitly want to stay away from the PRISMs, again my opinion. If it were me, Id sink another few $$ and just buy a nice AquaC Remora (if you're looking for H.O.T. Hang On Tank skimmers). I did when I got started and I've never regretted it!

I agree, my first skimmer was a prizm, and while it was ok it was nothing compared to the Remora I replaced it with. If I were you I would spend the extra money now and get something better, rather than buying something mediocre now and replacing it a few months down the road. What size tank do you have? And I assume you want a hang on tank skimmer? If so, check out the remora. Its reasonably priced and a great skimmer IMO.

I have a 30ga and it doesn't matter if i have a hang on or not. i was checking out the remora's and found one for about 100.00 on ebay. I'm going to just have to get it.

i agree, spend the xtra clams on a skimmer now so you do not regret it. The remora is a great choice for that tank.

or even a deltec... but then you are talking about ferrari's there.... the remora is the good cadillac of the gm line... if you get what i mean....

Red Sea Berlin Turbo has worked ok for me...have it in the sump of a 95 gal tank.

Corallife super skimmer has had great reveiws, and it has worked very well for me. Great skimmer at a great price.
