brine shrimp too big

hi everyone

the brine shrimp im feeding my 2 clowns seems to be too big for them,theres spirila mixed in with it so they eat that and the small bits of shrimp but the rest just gets stuck on the LR and and in to my filters,what do u think??? 8)

Hi Dave,

You might want to try Cyclopeeze - I had a similar problem with small Clowns and they took to this better than other foods I tried.

My Small tiny clown love Formula One Pellet with Garlic .. he go crazy and chasing it like crazy.. Now my clown fish even recognise the Can of the fish food and will go up and down following the Formula One food can when I move it up and down on the tank wall

Have you consider to hatch the shrimps yourself?

thats a good idea but i was told that when u hatch them ur self they could have diseases because of where they are hatched from,is that true?

they eat the small bits of food,but im left with some waste

You can put the food in a blender to make it finer, or chop it up with a knife. Try to feed little amounts at a time to minimize waste. Any food that they dont eat will fuel algae outbreaks. As mentioned, cyclopeeze would be a good thing to try.
