knowse ,

Thanks for your input. Don't have enough experience yet to determine that.

Thanks,

I got the coralife aqualight pro (2x150W halides). Great light in my opinion...but not cheap.

The anemone still hasn't moved..must like the spot now. It inflates/deflates regularly.

I know it is not wise to mix different species of anemone. But, can different types/colors of bubble tips be added without problem? I found a clown fish that liked a specific anemone..and added them both together.

Yes, you can have a rbta with a gbta with no problems. Here's a pic of mine when they were in my build off tank w/ 150w de mh lighting.

IMG_2008.jpg

After after nursing the gbta under 250w de mh in a 29g for about a month, it had started to regrow some of it's tentacles. It had been housed in a 20g with 130w pc lights. It was nothing more than a foot with a mouth. No tentacles.

This one shows just how big the gbta was when it went into the build off tank. That's a 1' bonsai pot in case you were wondering.

And this is what the gbta looked like after it had been in the build off tank for a short while.

ah..did that pot work? Mine has now moved to the underside of a rock face..i'm worried about it. it must be looking for a place to stick its foot. I thought i had given it a nice notch to hide in..but i guess it didn't like it. maybe i should try a pot like that? did you eventually move the pot?

Na, he didn't like the pot although I thought it was a good idea:lol: He worked his was across the tank and under the back side of the rock you see in the first pic. I just turned it around and it stayed there the rest of the time it was in that tank.
