Shrimp,
First I am sorry you have not been answered, sometimes waiting a little bit pays off on this board when it comes to recieving information. One of the ways you can get you nitrate down is to do some water changes say 25% or more. Also keep up with your cleanings and try not to overfeed if you have fish. Hope this helps :)

Hey Shrimp...

How old is the tank? What are the other water parameters, and also, what is the size and what is it stocked with, both animals, and LR/sand?

This will help anyone who passes through diagnose, or at least lend some advice to a problem.

Chris.

As Chris implied, more information is needed to be helpful.

Also, you need to be patient with responses. It can take hours or even days to get a response. I see there was only 1 minute between your first two posts...
