Stopping micro bubbles from bakpak skimmer

Whats the best way to stop micro bubbles from the bakpak skimmer...ive seen the bubble traps you can buy from cpr but dont know if they work...any info would be great!

we just adjusted the bubbles from the air intake. it took some time to get it right, do you have that blue media in yours that helps also.

no, i got it used and it doesnt have any of the media...i should look into getting some though

They sell a bubble trap that attaches to the output of the skimmer. Worked well for me.

I actually bought the internal bubble trap; it seems to work fine. If you wait a couple of months while your bakpak is breaking-in, you won't need to bother with any bubble traps as the bakpak will break-in properly.

can you buy the internal bubble trap seperatly or does it come with the bakpak, cuz i bought mine used and i dont have one..ive only seen the external bubble traps that Rob_Reef_Keeper mentioned

I bought mine at marinedepot, it seems to work okay but after your skimmer breaks in, you wont need one.
