Hi,
I'm just setting up my first salt water tank, after many years of looking after a fresh water tank.
I have a 30g tank that has been set up for approx 3 months now. Up until just recently I was having a lot of trouble with aglae blooms but after reading several threads from this forum it seems my use of tap water wasn't helping at all, so I've just started using RO water. (This seems to have helped considerably) My question is - Do I still need to use water conditioners of any kind in the RO water?

Many thanks in advance..

No, since the salt will take care of all the necessary ions. If there is anything that it need, use additive (calcium, carbonate, etc.) instead.
