Urchin tank - lab setup

obviously im in the wrong place.

i could have gotten better advice by tossing coins and consulting the i-ching

sand bottom no sand
airstone no airstone
skimmer is unnecessary
no reply from the only person who actually claims to have a cold tank
totally useless

i come asking for advice, i think i was freindly enough. polite.
then i find that im being steered by an opinionated member and stepping into some bickering politix crap you are likely all bored with by now.

every thread has contradicting arguements for each parameter.. no wonder i cant get a straight answer

Padra, unfortunately this is a complex hobby and there is often not a black and white answer to every question. There are many ways to be successful in the hobby and therefore you'll find differing opinions on how best to do things. Further, you're asking questions about setting up an urchin tank in a lab setting - something the average reefkeeper probably doesn't have much experience with.

You've been given a lot of useful information in this thread and people have taken time out to read your posts and tried to offer helpful responses. I'm sorry if you feel you've wasted your time here, but I think your last post was rude, out of line and very unappreciative of the efforts some have put into trying to answer your questions. Also, I don't understand why you felt the need to go back and delete most of your posts in the thread...
