Coral placement

Sorry, 1 more quick question regarding coral placement. Once put in place with a rubber band, how long does it take (assuming good placement) before the coral attaches to the rock...days, weeks, months?

it depends on the coral. what coral are you placing?

i would think a leather would attach pretty quickly. i don't know about a couple days though. they grow alot slower than say...xenia or mushrooms.

I would give it a solid 2 weeks to attach fully before removing the 'bands. That is, as long as the rubber bands are not too tight and cut through the coral first.

I think they take a lot longer than zenia and mushroom!! maybe more than 2 weeks
