Dipping Coral

Can you folks please describe the methods that you use to "Dip" your coral before putting it in your main display tank.

I use about a quart of tank water and one cap full of seachem iodine (four x recommended strenght) and let them sit for about 3-5 minutes while gently turkey basting them. This only treats for bacterial infections. Most tend to QT if they want to watch and treat for red bugs or acro eating flat worms.

For flatworms a 5-10 second FW dip will suffice.

Some say 30secs.. but 10 seconds and they float off dead IME.
