hello,

i have a 30 gallon sumpless cube currently stocked with a firefish, flameback angel, and a percula clownfish. i want to add a mystery wrasse and possibly a watchman goby.

question, is 5 fish too much? or should i stop at 4 or 3?

thanks.

I have a 60 litre Nano cube Orca 450tl (16 US Gallons)with 2 Red leged hermits, 2 Percula clowns, a Red Scooter , a Flame Hawkfish and a cleaner shrimp they seem to be doing well, I do have about 8 Kilogrammes of live rock and the Nano cube does have a skimmer which may help.
I would think if you keep checking your water levels you should be fine (your test kits should tell you if you are overloading). You may have to do more water changes than a bigger tank if you put more a larger bioload on your system.
So you should be fine dependant on you filter system. Good Luck!!

my recolection of the mystery wrasse about about 2 - 3..maybe wrong on that one though.....not doubting you there X...

personally, i would stop at 4 fish in a 30, but, thats just me as i dont like to hammer the bioload of a system...
