to many BTAs

Hi, Have a couple of couple of questions:
Can you have to much live rock in a tank?
I have 4 BTA and they are all on the same piece of live rock, 2 of them split recently. 2 are about 8" across, the 2 little ones are 4". My rock is not that big. What can I do. We are changing tanks this weekend.

they will move around if they are uncomfortable


as far as the LR goes, you don't wanna have enough in there to restrict water flow.

Thanks for the reply.
I was wondering about the live rock, that too much rock would release too many nutrients in your water.
I spoke to our LFS and they told me on my BTAs if you lift the foot out of the water just a little, that usually they will loosen up on their own. The piece of rock the four are on now, when we change over tanks, I need this to be on the base. That will be hard with the way they are now on this piece rock. I realize once we get things settled in with new tank, they will go where they want!

Point a powerhead at them. Sometimes they will move if they don't like that.
