Ok so my tank cycled and went through the nitrogen cycle. I did a ten percent water change. Checked the water parameters the next day and they were all normal, except ph which was low so I buffered it out.
Now I had an algea problem so I have added thqe following fish:
Lawnmower Blennie
Yellow Rabbitfish
Diamond Goby
My question is when the algea is gone what do I feed them or will there always be enough algea in the tank for the feed off of?
Thanks for your help and Merry Chirstmas to everyone

well the blennies are very difficult to teach how to feed on "artificial" food. And if you have enough rock there should be plenty of algae for it to graze on. Mine got rid of the algae 2 months ago and it's still going strong, It pulls small algae of the glass as well.

As far as the other fish just feed them some herbivore food, flakes, such as spirulina and so on.

Just curious what you used to buffer your water. Some buffers contain phosphate which could have caused your algae bloom. Also, you may want to read some of the reef chemistry articles by Randy Holmes Farley located at www.advancedaquarist.com and www.reefkeeping.com . Just because your pH was low, doesn't necessarily mean you need to add something to the water. You should be testing alkalinity to determine whether or not you need to add buffer. Also, keep in mind that, generally speaking, whenever you add buffer you should also be adding calcium.

As for feeding the algaevores, Nori, such as that used to make sushi, can be purchased at any grocery store. IT can be cliped in the tank or held in place with an algae magnet for the fish to graze on.

What algae do you have? Diamond goby sticks out since it is a sand bed sifter that does not eat algae, rather it is often used to keep cyno from getting hold. The other two are for fleshy macro's and hair...
