Snails, Snails and more Snails

I have 150 reef tank. It's been up and running for one year. I notice hundreds of small snails all over the tank at night...they've made it to my fuge too. They only come out at night in the main tank. They don't seem to get any bigger either.

Do I leave them be? Will they cause any problems? Do those Snails-b-Gone products work and will they harm the snails I want to keep that I purchased?

they are common hitch hikers. even if you tried, you'd never be able to get rid of them. plus, they are good inhabitants.

I would investigate taking various precautions to keep them from getting into your filtration. Otherwise they are not only harmless but good.

i have a zillion of them. they haven't hurt anything in my tank.
some say they might get into powerheads and stop the impellar, but i've been lucky i guess.

I've never had a problem with snails either. I say keep them unless they cause a problem.
