New to sps corals and this peach monti cap are my first attempts at sps. I have 4 peach and 1 orange monti cap. Have had all of them for about a week now and I notice no polyp extension since I have had them on my peach montis, the orange monti polyps are very visible and seem to be doing just fine. Could be I am blind and the white/peach just blends too well for me to see the polyps. All are in the same area of the tank and roughly the same height, mid tank aprox 10 inches from the lights. All are in a moderate flow area. Peach monti have brown algae that tries to grow on it, but i blow it off with turkey baster. I cant find any info on peach monti on the web so I am hoping someone here has had some experience with it. All tank parameters are in check as far as what I test for, I am just wondering if the polyps are different on peach monti vs orange monti.. Best i can tell is that the polyps on the peach monti are very thin, stringy and almost microscopic! Tried to take a picture, but my coolpix nikon s230 is far from great at small polyp close ups. Thanks for any help you can offer.
